Who can you meet?

Saskia van Leendert (1972) tries to capture
the everyday reality in understandable poetry. Her poems have a strong
expressive power and are driven by a palpable desire. Lightness, nostalgia,
profundity and mollification come together in a raw and sometimes outdated
reality. In May she will present her debut collection Hoe zij mij leest.
Perhaps you know Saskia from the literary evening of the Lesbian Festival
2007.

Minke Douwesz (1962) works as a psychiatrist.
In 2003 she debuted with the major novel Strikt, which experienced four
editions and became third in the election Best lesbian books ever. Her
second book, Weg, is released in April and tells about ending a relationship.

Anja de Crom (1964) is writer and journalist.
She wrote together with Esther Bremer the "boarding school novels"
Pitty to college and Artemis hunting. In 2006 her novel appeared, Villa
Volta (2006), a cheerful story about love, friendship and squatting in
houses, which was second in the election Best lesbian book ever. The successor
Halsoverkop will be released at the end of April, and is a humorous and
fast paced written story about loyalty, friendship and large sums of money.

Rianne White (Texel, 1972) won with her
short story Moeders the second prize in the story contest of the Lesbian
Festival 2007. Schijn, hoop en liefde is her debut novel. The first chapter
appeared previously as short story in the collection The tango salon and
other love stories about women’s love (LaVita Publishing, 2008).
This activity is sponsored by the bookstore De Feeks, women
documentation centre De Feeks, Central Library The Mariënburg and
